Kia Motors has launched the Seltos SUV in India. Kia Seltos has been launched at an initial price of Rs. 9.69 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the company's first car in the country.

Design and style
The Kia Seltos is a 5 seater mid-size SUV. The company has given Tiger nose grille, LED headlamps in front of Seltos SUV. Ice cube-shaped LED drills are provided at the bottom.

Engine
The Kia Seltos has been launched with three BS-6 compliant engines, including 1.5-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel and 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engines. It has a choice of four gearboxes, three of which are automatic.
Its 1.5 petrol engine provides 115 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque and the 1.5-liter diesel engine provides 115 Bhp of power with 250 Nm of torque. Its 1.4-liter turbo-petrol gives 140 Bhp of power and 242 Nm of torque.

The 6-speed manual gearbox is given in all three engines as standard. A total of 12 color options have been given in 6 variants of Kia Seltos, out of which 8 are single tone and 4 dual-tone. Single-tone includes Red, Orange, Glacier White, Clear White, Gray, Silver, Blue, and Black and Dual Tone includes Red / Black, Glacier White / Black, Silver / Black, and Glacier White / Orange.
Delivery
Booking of Kia Seltos was already started and it can be booked at the company's dealership or official website with an advance amount of Rs 25 thousand. It received over 23,000 bookings in 20 days. Its delivery will also be started soon.
Competitive
Kia Seltos is going to compete with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Vitara Brezza, MG Hector in the Indian market. It is believed that it may also prove to be a threat to other segment vehicles.
